Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (also known as RSD) and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a terrible condition that causes debilitating pain, often in the arms, hands, legs or feet. Symptoms sometimes show up after a crush injury, surgery or auto accident.
With RSD and CRPS, the pain can be unbearable. The central nervous and immune systems malfunction, causing severe and chronic pain.
Many lawyers, and even some doctors, are unfamiliar with RSD and CRPS. At Harris Altman PC, we can help you determine whether you should inquire about this diagnosis. There are people who live with RSD and don’t realize it. We have assisted clients nationwide, and in particular in the Metro Detroit area, who have chronic pain.
